about us
Founded in 2019, Tanakita Ceramics is a pottery studio based in West Jakarta, Indonesia. We offer a variety of workshops, products, tools, and services. It all started with our passion for the art of ceramics and our family’s 30 years of experience in the industry.
Tanakita Ceramics combines commercial and art to produce artisanal, hand-crafted pieces. We are aware that there’s a lot to learn when it comes to pottery, so we want to provide a safe space for people to learn and develop their skills.
In the end, we are all students here.
Process
Pottery resembles our daily lives -sometimes things don't turn out the way we hope.
We take on the challenge of finding solutions so you can focus on your craft. We strive to encourage artists, especially new and budding artists, to be comfortable with mistakes.
